\nThat was the challenge on a reality show I watched ..
\nDuring the 2021 lockdown in Hyderabad ,Undercover Billionaire, where billionaires try to build a $1M business from scratch.
\nI was hooked and binge watched the whole season in one day. More than entertainment, it felt like a personal challenge.
\nI kept asking myself ..
\nIf I can build a million dollar business in 90 days with no money?
\nThe idea was definitely insane, but worth a shot.
\nThe thought wouldn\u2019t leave me.
\nI slept on it for weeks,
\nuntil I finally decided to take it up….
\nThe only question was: What should I build?
\nWhen your mind locks onto an idea,
\neverything you see starts revolving around it.
\nThat\u2019s when it clicked \u2014 Nearshore Talent Services in Mexico. A model that fit the challenge perfectly.
\nBut it also raised tougher questions.
\nCould I build something from almost nothing,
\nin a country where I didn\u2019t know anyone, didn\u2019t speak the language, and while keeping the initial investment under $50K on purpose?
\nThat\u2019s when I decided to raise the stakes.
\nInstead of aiming for a million-dollar valuation,
\nI decided to aim for a million dollars in revenue within a year, with a tiny budget and zero network.
\nOn October 16, 2021, I packed my bags and got on a flight to Guadalajara, Mexico.
\nNew country , No contacts , Never spoke Spanish only with Just an idea and a 90-day timer ticking in my head.
\nThose early days were wild.
\nI spent hours walking the streets looking for a small office space.
\n\u2192 Interviewed strangers who\u2019d become my first hires.
\n\u2192 Set up phone lines, websites, and systems from scratch.
\n\u2192 Cooked my own South Indian meals in a foreign kitchen (Somehow that small act made me feel at home.)
\nFive weeks in, life tested me.
\nOutside our new office, someone ripped the gold chain off my neck sped away while I was on a call.
\nI froze, then walked back in, finished the meeting, and kept working. I was close to quitting, but pushed through.
\nBy December, 60 days in,
\nI left Mexico … leaving the team to keep the mission alive.
\nI guided them remotely, watched them grow,
\nand knew deep down that we were onto something real.
