It was infrastructure drag.<\/p>\n<p>I know because I lived it.<br \/>\nWhen I built my first company in New York, I spent months reinventing operations that already existed. Payroll systems. Vendor contracts. Sales workflows. All learned through expensive mistakes.<\/p>\n<p>Real money lost. Not paper money.
