No waiting for a developer. No agency invoice. No need to explain the idea to anyone.<\/p>\n
It feels like extraordinary progress.<\/p>\n
Except nobody has paid yet.<\/p>\n
Building gives you control.
\nYou choose the feature. You approve the design. You decide when it is finished.<\/p>\n
Selling gives someone else a vote.
\nThe problem is not important. The price is too high. The old solution is good enough.
\nOr no reply at all.<\/p>\n
So another evening on the product feels better than an afternoon hearing those answers.<\/p>\n
My concern is that AI makes this avoidance look remarkably productive.<\/p>\n
The website gets better.
\nThe demo gets smoother.
\nThe business stays untested.<\/p>\n
In every weekly review, I would ask one question first:
\nWhat did we learn this week from someone who could actually pay us?<\/p>\n
A shipped feature proves we can build.
\nA customer conversation tells us whether it is worth buying.<\/p>\n
AI can help you build almost anything.
\nThe customer still decides whether you have built a business.<\/p>\n
When did a customer last tell you something that changed what you were building?<\/p>\n
