Your employees learn your priorities by watching what you tolerate.

Your employees learn your priorities by watching what you tolerate.
You say quality matters, then approve work you know is poor.
You say deadlines matter, then accept the same excuses.
You say people matter, then let your best performer disrespect everyone.
The team notices every exception.
Eventually, they stop listening to the values and start studying the exceptions.
What gets rewarded? Who gets protected? What gets ignored?
Those answers become your culture.
Before asking why your team accepts something, ask where they learned to.
Sometimes, the answer is uncomfortable.
